I tried checking my order history and felt a bit lost. Things I know I bought before were hard to track down, and the account page just doesn’t feel very clear. It’s kind of stressful when you need to download your files again and just want to feel sure they’re still there and easy to access.

I tried to buy a few PDFs, but the payment options were just too limited for me. It felt like one of those small things that ends up saying a lot about the whole experience, if paying is this much of a hurdle in 2025, it makes you wonder how easy the rest will be. I eventually just gave up and left.

The refund ended up taking way longer than I expected, which added some unnecessary stress to the whole situation. I had to keep checking on it and wondering when it would finally go through. To be fair, they did eventually fix it, but the waiting around was frustrating.

This was a pathetic print job. The pages came out blurry, some were cut all weird like nobody bothered to check them, and the cover was already peeling when it arrived. For something that should be simple, they really managed to mess it up. Definitely not ordering from them again.

There’s a lot of random small stuff, but not many solid options that matched what I was hoping to find. The search didn’t really make it easier either, so I kept clicking around and coming up empty. it had that bait and switch feeling where it looks promising at first, but then doesn’t really deliver. I ended up leaving without buying anything

I get the feeling some reviews just kind of disappear into the void, which is always fun. Not saying they’re being ignored on purpose or anything, but it definitely doesn’t make me feel super confident about the whole process.

I do like DriveThruRPG because there are a ridiculous number of games on there, which is awesome. But the site search? Absolute chaos goblin. I’ll type in the exact title or publisher and somehow get a parade of random nonsense before the thing I’m actually looking for. The filters help a bit, but the whole process still feels slow, clunky, and messy. Most of the time I just give up and use Google like it’s the unofficial DriveThruRPG search assistant.

I refreshed a bunch of times and still had no clue if I’d been charged or not. Way too frustrating for such a simple order.

The site works fine overall, but my library gets cluttered quickly. Trying to find older downloads or sort through bundles can be kind of a hassle. It’s not awful, but I’d really like to see better folders or filters to make things easier.

I ordered a print book from drivethrurpg, i was excited to get it. But when it showed up, the condition was rough. The box was really thin with barely any padding, so the corners were smashed and the cover was bent. I know shipping can be hard on packages, and at first I thought maybe it was just bad luck, but no, this really felt like they just tossed the book in there and hoped for the best. For the price, I expected better. Disappointing overall

drivethrurpg does help indie creators get noticed, which is cool. I’ve found some good stuff there, but the site just feels a bit old, and finding smaller games can be hit or miss. It’s still useful overall, I just wish it did a better job of supporting and highlighting the little publishers

I’ve tried to catch a decent sale a few times, but the deals never seem that great. The prices also jump around so much that it’s hard to tell if you’re actually getting a good deal or just buying at the wrong time. I reached out to support about it once and the reply felt like a copy-paste answer that didn’t really address my question, which just made the whole thing more frustrating.

I tried reading the PDF on my tablet, but the scans were so blurry that I kept having to zoom in and squint. It was frustrating. Weirdly, the page with a tiny coffee stain in the corner was the only one I could recognize right away, but the actual text was still hard to read.

I was told managing my account would be simple, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. Every time I try to make changes or update something, it feels way more complicated than promised. It’s frustrating when the service sounds easy upfront, but in reality I can’t even properly manage my own account

I ordered this weeks ago and still haven’t received anything. The tracking has barely updated, so I’m kind of just left wondering what’s going on. I don’t think I’ll be ordering physical items from here again.

I use DriveThruRPG regularly, mostly because it has a huge mix of publishers all in one place, which is genuinely convenient when I’m in the mood to browse both older RPG books and newer releases without hopping between a bunch of different sites. That part is really nice. The only thing is, the selection can feel uneven depending on what you’re looking for. The big names, popular systems, and well-known publishers are usually easy to find because they’re right up front or show up quickly in searches, but smaller publishers seem to get buried fast unless you already know exactly what you’re searching for. So I do like the site, and I think it’s useful overall, but I wish the discovery tools were a little better. It’s decent if you know what you want, just not always great when you’re trying to stumble into something new or different...

Most of my orders have been totally fine and the download links usually work without any problem. There were a couple times where it took longer than expected, or the file seemed to be missing until I checked back and refreshed later. My guess is maybe their system gets backed up sometimes, but who knows. It’s not a huge deal, just not something I’d call perfectly reliable every single time.

I had a frustrating time trying to use the search on this site. The weird part is, it feels like there’s probably good stuff on here, but it’s buried so deep that I couldn’t actually find it. The search results felt messy and not very helpful.
